Released on Jan. 14, 2025, after the trial date was set, this 90-minute documentary provides a glimpse into Combs’ childhood, including the traumatic murder of his father Melvin. His exposure to criminal and adult activities at a young age lends a new lens through which to examine his adult personality and actions that led to the present day case. Interviews from singer-songwriter Al B. Sure!, childhood friend Tim Paterson, former bodyguard Gene Deal, an alleged abuse victim, and other former employees and associates close to Combs lend new perspectives to the story.

Watch On Hulu

Premiering May 9, 2025, this series presents 30-minute episodes to summarize coverage of trial events, as cameras are not allowed in the courtroom. Hosted by senior national correspondent for ABC News, Eva Pilgrim, and including contributors Aaron Katersky and Brian Buckmire from previous specials, this series will share more in common with traditional news coverage to recount facts as the trial progresses than earlier attempts to summarize or contextualize the wider story.
